goldeneye243
I have got a butt plate from a 20g mk60 if that is the one you are looking for...
Gordon R
Try ringing Malmo, near Garstang. They had quite a few secondhand cases some months ago. They might be able to sort you out a butt plate as well.
bigolbear
it's for a 12g Mk70 it would be fantastic if it would fit , I Have no clue if it does can you let me know what you want for it P&P etc thanks
goldeneye243
It won't fit unfortunately, it is a little smaller than the 12 gauge as far as I know. Good luck finding one, they come up on ebay occasionally.
bigolbear
Thanks , I have been looking at at SIS GREEN Shock Absorbing Pad any one any idea if there wort getting . one question if the pad is foam and you screw it on when it compresses don't the screws stick in you? goldeneye243
I used one on my MK 70 12g, then transferred it to my MK60 20g. Good pad and it will bend to fit the curved butt. I did then find that the stock was too long and eventually cut it back (the stock) before refitting it (I had to sand the pad a little then, as it had taken on the shape of the miroku stock slightly). The pad has a plastic base, then the foam, the screws go up against the plastic base so do not notice in use. I would buy another one. For me the standard pad does not fit at all, so I would use anything in preference to it... Edited October 7, 2012 by goldeneye243
bigolbear
thanks for the advice i'll order one tomorrow, will a belt sander do the job to fit it ?? Edited October 8, 2012 by bigolbear
goldeneye243
That is what I use, I remove the stock and tape it up to protect it. It is easy enough if you are practical...
