Rimfireboy
One of the better mopeds and quicker than most. Just check engine fixings to see if its been apart. If not and it doesn't knock or rattle it could be a good un. Exhaust smoke should be blue and not white. If its white, take the oil filler cap off and sniff. If you can smell petrol the crank seals are leaking.
reidler
I had a senda in 2000 so not one of the newer ones, but going off that I wouldn't have another. When they're running right it's all good, used to be able to get 55mph out of mine. It used to be the unreliability and expensive spares that was the problem, and questionable build quality.Much better off with honda/yam etc imo

gixer1
honda c50 Oh come now - as reliable and bomb proof as the cub's are - do you want the poor lads mates to point at him and laugh??? :( The debri at least has street cred! Rimfireboy
Have you seen the price of a fizzy now??? mrs rimfire sold hers for fifty quid just to get it out the way. Should have kept it. Never mind, at least I had the foresight to buy up as many air cooled 250's as I could when the 125 learner law came in. They were virtually giving em away. Still got quite a few now. Classics they reckon these days. You've got to laugh. Just sitting on em and watching em go up in value to the rose tinted brigade. triumphant59
My lad bought a 2007 Derbi GPR50 (7000 miles) in June 2011 for £800 It was a bit mucky but cleaned up like new. Said like that £800 sounds a lot for a 2005 Senda.
