Fitted my new neoprene moderator cover tonite so decided to give it a field trial.

So i pops up to a local shoot to see if Charlies about, i decided to take some bait along to try something different so along came the tinned tuna :/

No sooner had walked it 150 yards out and returned to the Landy got my gun out ,wired up the lamp ,cocked it and switched the lamp on and ****** me there's one at the tuna already :D .

So leans across the bonnet and number 1's shes down for the count :good:

30 mins later after a coffee and a quick stretch of the old leg's i bring the dimer on the lamp slowly up on the tuna to see number 2 filling his face :/ .This time as i increase the brightness he legs it  only to stop about 60yards further on and sits down to look at me :D

Squeeze ,bang and wallop job done on number 2 :D

Twenty Min's later I'm at home with beer righting this :/

Have you tried moving the Lamp as far back on the scope as you can :D .........I can tell you however that from experience I made modified the scope bracket to raise the scope off it several inches and that did,nt work either :D

Never really had that problem on the AR, it has a high top receiver which means that when mounted the scope is just over 3 1/2" from the center of the bore.

However i think the cover may help it has quite a matt finish to it,or as i had to do on my .17hmr a piece of inner tube :/

Got some funny looks in Halfrauds though when i asked for one to fit this as i held out the T8 :/

 Good man, glad you eventually got it on and had sucsess.

Tuna works great :D , try a bucket full that has been sittiing their with the lid on for a week. :D:lol:

Works a treat too. :/:lol:

Great stuff.

Frank.
