well M" Lord, lol, the boss reckons 20 no problem, depends how many names we get i suppose, and how many will actually come,as for beasts,a deer would be great, preferably skinned and at least hung for a week,if someone gets me one i can store it at work,a bunny or two,i can supply,a hare i can supply also, and whatever anyone thinks they would like to see prepared, ill take my time with the deer,to show all the different cuts, techniques and preparation,so could take maybe an hour with a talk through what im actually doing and whatever questions people may have, ill also do some sausage (venison)so even 2 deer would be good....the boss has given me access to all the equipment ill need including packaging, sausage skins, machinery etc,so maybe a small entrance donation would be a good idea, what does everyone else think?

oh and hes giving a complementary free cup of coffee on arrival, not a big deal, but still good of him i reckon....

I think an entry fee is the least we could do! Let us know how much you have in mind as we cant leave you or your boss out of pocket!

Now then Lads!!! Who can supply the deer carcasses for the demo?

Also if Darren is OK with it perhaps someone could VIDEO this and it can be of help to others in the future?

Now we have a Venue, we need to find out exactly who is going so lets have some Names!

I assume you mean they have a BBQ at the end of the demo, and cook the produce of the evening?

That would be entirely at the discression of the Host!

We still need to find a couple of Deer carcasses! A Roe and perhaps a Munty would be ideal. If nobody going on the course shoots Deer will need to source them from somewhere!

No Poaching please :D

So far we only have the following down for the course as definates. Lets get this list extended. Remember there is room for approx 20 :good:

ive been doing a lot of thinking about this course, and would like to share my thoughts so people can say what they think, any ideas would be great1

for an entry fee of say £10 that includes complimentary coffee on arrival, not sure about more free coffee, but will ask the boss

going to see about some catering,ie a buffet supplied by my Mrs,need definate numbers for this

and obviously the course itself

as far as the meat at the end is concerned,i think everyone who attends should take something home with them, not sure about the cooking bit but again, ill see the boss tomorrow to see if i can get access to our kitchen

as for the date and time,,17th november from 6.30pm when shop is closed to whenever we get done, what do you guys think?

havent asked about it being videoed yet but shouldnt be a problem
