Boristhedog
I've just had my FAC granted and for the .243 it says '...for shooting fox and other medium quarry...'. What would 'other medium quarry' include? Badgers? Any ideas?

Paul223
yes i think 'medium sized quarry' would cover badger, all you need to do is sign up for the cull next year
Bleeh
I'm guessing it means no Red/Sika bucks, which is fair enough for the caliber in my option.

This is the problem with .243 win- too many who dont know squat about it and its Stags not bucks in both cases

bedwards1966
I very much doubt you'd lose any court case if the police gave you trouble for shooting a 'large' deer with that condition, as they have left it so vague it's open to any interpretation. I consider elephant, buffalo and rhino's to be 'large', I wouldn't consider deer to be anything larger than 'medium'.

al4x
Personally unless you've had a deer condition before I would doubt that includes any deer. Worth checking as it sounds complete bull
