First go at dressing a pheasant

Here's my first go - pics before and after of dressing a hen pheasant my mate dropped round. Thanks for pointing me towards your pinned topic on dressing of birds HenryD as the old maxim goes - a picture speaks a thousand words. Also having tried plucking one first then skinning one its defnietly skinning for me - so much bloody easier ;)

:good: - what a headline never noticed that :lol:As for what i am going to do next i am going to eat it :blush: probably roast it with roast tatties and maybe parsnips if i can get any plus stuffing, sprouts and peas,gravy and mash - thats should do it :good:

 

although i am open to ideas :blink: i shall peruse the recipes section.

 

Nothing suspect about this post though :good:

 

As for the peg well thats for purely deviant sexual practices :oops:

 

p.s. - checked the crop-full of what looked like grass seed or something similar certainly no pellets.

Dougy - i'll take you up on that one :blush: Hands like shovels make me popular with the ladies :blink: - big thumbs and all that :good::oops:

 

Seriously though mate i would appreciate being shown :good: although i do like to take the easy route if i can and skinning certainly was :yes:

 

Henry thanks for the tip - i got some parma ham from an ex-girlfriend (made sure I broke up with her after i got the ham :lol:) will try that recipe sounds tasty :good:
