Teal
I was with a friend in scourie in sutherland about a month ago, managed to catch my first salmon and on the hill came accross this beast!! Very difficult stalk due to the beasts location, we had to double round as they were on the lee side of hill half way up and we came up some 10 yards away from them, before retreating to 25yards for shot. The stags had been lying down, but knew something was up and stood and whilst some were moving off i squeezed the trigger and dropped this chap with a neck shot, a good one to get off the hill due to the switchy head. As you can see he was still in velvet. Chuffed

Teal
Me and my friend dragged him for a few hundred yards fortunately mostly downhill, to a track where we were able to get him with a pony :yp: I gave the head to someone to make some sticks out of, hoping to get one back...!
