Thanks lads for all your kind comments.

This Archer NV unit is incredible as ive said before.I wouldnt be without it now.

Thanks Terry for adding pic.

nice one that looks a chunky fox and another to chalk up to the archer :good: , they seem to have done well this year we're yet to shoot anything in bad nick.

They've all been in good condition for me too this year bud. This one was nice and dark in colour as you can see.

Thanks.

What a cracking looking Fox,glad to see the NV is working for you Mark....but you know the drill - write up please

So are you getting on ok with it then?

What's your preferred method, ambush or walking around scanning?

Didn't think you could get away with just putting the picture up did you? :P

Maybe he does not want to tell us about other 1 eating dead sheep with the 1 he shot, to bloody slow.

Well here is the write-up;

The Farmer told me that day that he'd baited up an area for me and for me to have a look that evening.

I arrived at the Farm at 10:30pm and after walking about 100 yards to my position i then rested the rifle on a bale of straw that was put up for me.The distance from my shoting position to the baited area was exactly 135 yards away.I looked through the Archer and noticed that nothing was about. After about 5 minutes and then put on the Archer again to see a Fox slowly walking down to the baited area.I waited about another 5 minutes flicked the Archer on and saw what looked like the same Fox tucking into his dinner plus another Fox about 20 yards behind waiting for his meal!I thought lets take the one eating first,Bang-one down and then i saw the other one running away,i then lip squeaked to see him briefly stop as i was cycling another round into the chamber but as i was lining this one up he decided something was'nt right as was out of there! He'll come for me next time!!

I cannot recommend this Archer NV unit enough,it is and incredible bit of kit-yes it is very expensive but if you can afford it get one,you wont be disappointed!

I would'nt be without the Archer now.

He might be spoiling me but i am doing him and other Farmers in the area a massive favour by taking out these Foxes!

Im pretty convinced that after seeing a lot of shy Foxes last year with the Lamp,i wouldnt be having these results without the NV.

What grade archer did you get mate

Its a D grade tubed Archer and its fantastic!

Had to socialise with the farmers tonight, hic burp **** :yay: but did go up to 1 farm at dusk and set some bait up ready for tonight, also like your helpful farmer,he's going to re-bait at dusk for me...so here's hoping :good:

Good Luck Jeff and keep us informed on how you get on.

I have now purchased a Butt Extension from this website;- www.onelesscharlie.webs.com

This extension will make my shooting much more comfortable with the Archer fitted.
