Its not the gun that makes the pellet drop at the end of the day-its entirely down to velocity and pellet weight. Why buy a single shot when you already have the same gun in a multi version?-i'm confused.com

When u shoot 30-32grain solid pellets its easy to load and use ;)

would have to agree with bullet boy sorry but i think the gun shop has had your pants down just for the sale, you already have a fac s510 what on earth would you want the s500 in fac for,i just dont get it,why would you need 32grain solid pellets, i think your perception of air rifles is all to cock, just cant work out why :hmm: :hmm: :hmm: :hmm:

Am I missing something here,Nescafem?,Are you saying that its easier to load the single shot version of the 510? And why fire such heavy pellets when you have already displayed concern over the looped trajectory of an FAC HW100?-Why not save yourself a whole heap of grief and buy a Rimmie?

Why are we now introducing the S200 into the mix?Still trying to work out why you did'nt just buy a single shot tray for your FAC S510-would have saved you enough cash to buy a Rimmie surely? And why are you using 30+ grain slugs in a 30 ft/lb? Airgun then worrying about the looped trajectory? Not wanting to discredit you-just does'nt make sense to me? :sad1:

Coz when we are field targetting we shoot over 150-250m.You need a fac rifle and heavy pellets :) and why im asking s200 is to buy one for my collection ;)

And, unless my basic knowledge of physics is a mile off, a heavier pellet = slower = more drop. Also, that longer flight time gives any crosswind more of a chance to deflect.

I calculate a 32 grn pellet out of a 30 ftlb gun as a muzzle velocity of only 650 fps. You can get exactly the same with a 11.5 ftlb gun and a 12 grain pellet, so I utterly fail to see the benefit in going for the high-powered version

strange one !!

I was already using AA s510 Xtra Fac .22 and thinking to buy an Hw100.But the airgun shop owner convinced me to not to buy Hw100 Fac in .22 coz the pellet drops quickly after 50m. So ı ended up with s500 Xtra Fac .22 Hope did well :)

So what hes saying is the s500 in .22 dosnt drop off after 50m ?? sounds like he needs to get another day job as he is talking tosh , 250m with an air rifle also sounds strange the drop off would be imense you would have to fire it up in the air and hope for the best i would think .
