henry d
I used CCleaner and lost my cookies for this and other boards and re-set my passwords(they needed it too!) however whenever I click on PWForums I have to log in even though I`ve ticked "remember me". Any thoughts on it ? Cheers all
Hunter
Reset your PC? should allow the setting to settle, and refresh the RAM memory. Only suggestion I have..

Hunter
Errrr... turn off the pc, allow it to settle turn back on. That will refresh the memory stored in the RAM (ok I sound like a geek now) If that does not work I would download Mozilla Firefox, its a lot more reliable then Explorer, and is also a lot mroe secure. It wont allow bugs to download themselves to your PC, and is generally a lot more secure to prevent hackers/spyware. To clear cookies, all you do is click a button tht says Clear Private Data, and all the built up internet memory is wiped. Never have any problems with it forgetting passwords either. Cranfield
If you have Internet Explorer go to Tools > Internet Options > Privacy > Sites > Type in the full address of the site you wish to allow cookies from, then click "Allow". Being a recent convert to Mozilla Firefox, I agree they do have a less complicated way of allowing certain Cookies.
Dave-G
I'm wondering if you stored the "fix" that PIN gave us rather than the new wossit thingy url when we were down? Have you tried Google for a link and saving it? Or maybe you have not selected auto complete on passwords and forms; Tools > internet options > content > in the lower 'personal information' find auto complete > tick 'user names, and passwords on forms. pin
Nah nah nah! Right, take out the flux capacitor and give it a vacuum, then re-align the temporal phase-inhibitor using a glaxometric flugal spanner. Once you have done that reconfigure the plexar array to emit only reverse-phase neutrons, and finish up by splicing the main-brace. That will have you logging in like a good-un in no time at all Some people, no idea what they are on about at all

pin
Cookes = small text files which websites put on your computer. Without these the website won't know who you are, and can't sign you in when you re-visit. Any problem like this will be :- 1) Cookies broken in some way 2) Not asking for / Not accepting cookies from PW Delete any cookie with pigeonwatch.co.uk in it, referenced by it or called that, then click the "remember me" thing again. Problem solved. If the problem persists you might have something blocking the cookies sent from PW to you, or there may be a problem whereby your browser has forgotten about or broken the cookies is has for PW. In which case the above applies. leeboy
Henry, if you are using ccleaner make sure you uncheck the option 'autocomplete form history' under internet explorer. You can leave cookies checked but before you run the cleaner go into options- cookies and move the cookies you want to keep into the 'cookies to keep' bit. once you have done this it will not delete the pigeon watch or any other cookies you want to save. Also I would recommend you use Firefox or similar and not internet explorer as IE is a big security weakness. Hope that sorts it Leeboy
