Salop Matt
I dont know why this even gets air time, the argies can only moan and shout as there airfore is a joke and barely airworthy and very dated, there navey is a joke so anything that flew the wrong way or sailed the wrong way we would shoot down / sink like shooting ducks in a barrel ! We just need the old bag to have a nasty accident or send Maggie round with her boxing gloves on !

ozzy518
Only problem that I can see if the Argies do have another go, is having to ask the French if we can borrow an aircraft carrier. Then all we need to do is find something to fly off it.

Chr15j
Oh yes, that is a machine, everything else can stay at home! That's all we need, plus a fleet of refuelling aircraft
BRYAN3
dont think britain would be interested if it wasn,t for oil either, but hey the falklands people want to stay british so imo we should back them all the way I want to stay British as well but, every time I go into town it seems we have been taken over. ordnance
I would agree that the Falklands should stay British as long as the people living there want it to. Would the British armed forces have the capability to retake the Falklands if necessary. Most analyses of the last conflict say it could have went either way if all the bombs dropped on navy ships had exploded.
Chris Bb
I dont know why this even gets air time, the argies can only moan and shout as there airfore is a joke and barely airworthy and very dated, there navey is a joke so anything that flew the wrong way or sailed the wrong way we would shoot down / sink like shooting ducks in a barrel ! Their forces may be jokes but at least they have forces. Our army is mainly deployed far too far to the east fighting other people's wars, our navy lacks ships, specifically an aircraft carrier with aircraft, and our air force lacks aircraft. The blokes are the best, they're just let down by ongoing government mis-management. We can but hope that there's a nuke or two running deep in the far south Atlantic. Gunnerbob
Our lads sent the Argies packing once and they will do it again if needs be. Fernandez would do well to turn her attention to her own country first and try to do something positive there, never mind about posturing over the Falklands which are nothing to do with Argentina
beeredup
at the end of the day fernandez see the oil rich waters surrounding the Falklands as a remedy for her countries economy, pretty much the same as the floundering imbeciles who are running our country do!! clakk
them there astute class subs have that anti aircraft radar that can pop planes off on the ground so we dont need a carrier as theyl get toasted on home turf .i think its 3 or 400 mile range so 2 subs of their coast n mrs hitlers got no airforce oh dear how sad never mind Edited January 6, 2013 by clakk
