SPARKIE
HAS IT GOT FLYBY WIRE THROTTLE....? IF SO COULD BE THE PEDAL SENSOR.
straightshooter1
sounds like a positon sensor but that would come up as a fault ??
VULTURE
Hi it's a manual gearbox,no faults on diagnostics, just annoying having this little lurch every time i change gear at low revs around town, doesn't do it above 2500 rpm. Cheers. Vulture
Markr
i have the same thing with my ford focus recently, ie: turn a corner in second or accelerate in 3rd after slowing down and it feels like youre pulling a caravan with the brake on?. i ran a bottle of redex through no improvment im thinking either pedal sensor or of managment problem Edited February 15, 2013 by Markr
andypaint
Morrisons fuel by any chance! It clogs modern injectors, too much bio fuel in it. Other than that sounds like a sensor or possibly air flow mass if running lumpy on idle.

DOBBER
Same issue here with a 2010 1.6HDI 3008. Car hesitates a time or two between 1700 & 2000 revs and after that perfect. No fault codes... 🤔 Anybody solve this issue. Garage can't seem to nail it!
stu64
had a similar problem with an astra, a product called cataclean worked for a couple years but in the end it was a new egr valve that cured it.

Westward
That diesel engine is a "designed by committee" joint venture and is fitted to models from Ford, Peugeot, Citroen, Mazda and Volvo. Amongst other annoyances they seem to get through glowplugs fairly quickly and that could explain at least some of the various issues described above.
