I'm in west Yorkshire and would like to try some on rather than going mail order, but just cant find a stockist searching on the web. Does anyone know where I can try. I'm going for Esk's if I can get them. Thanks in anticipation, Mick

Gutty Boots
No problem, I said garden center as that's where I got my last pair of Tay Sports from - online though. Cheaper than gun/tackle shops too.

jloc
Just about to take back my 2nd pair of Esk boots as the rear seam is opening up. Same place as the 1st pair. Anyone else had this? Bad batch maybe? Cheers J

mickyh
This makes me think. A few weeks ago I was in TK Max at Crown Point in Leeds. They were selling Royal Hunters for £50 ! But looking inside the boots there was a sticker saying seconds. Maybe some places are knocking out seconds as top grade, hence the poor quality? Funny enough hunters are made in China now, hence the poor quality issues.
minghis
Have a care with the Muck Boots, I had a pair (Derwents I believe, with the neoprene leg bit) and I struggled with them. Really heavy, felt like walking around with a load of mud stuck to the soles, and the worst thing was that you only have to touch some barbed wire or even some thorns and the neoprene gets really easily easily torn. Now have a pair of Aigle Parcours and they're far better in my opinion. Sorry if I've put you off, but fore warned is fore armed and all that.
