sc0tt
Difficult one. I sent my application about 3 weeks ago. I was going to give my FEO a call to see how things are progressing but I don't want to sound like I am "Chasing" him up so to speak. I know when someone chases me at work it goes to the bottom of the pile. Is it the norm to nag or is 3 weeks too quick to expect a call? Essex for what its worth. Cheers Scott
al4x
Ring the office main number and you will probably get a member of admin staff and you can start by checking they received it ok and subtly ask progress

Essex Keeper
Just phone your feo and ask when your having your home vist because you want to book it in around work or just ask him when he is coming

I could get a friend to put it on his cert but incase I don't get approved I will have £500 worth of gun that I will need to get rid of. sc0tt
Looking at a Lanber Sporting Deluxe or wife dependant Beretta 682 Gold E. The second is doubtful but depends on how long the cert takes. Also the likes of a Bettinsoli, Beretta 686 etc. Just clays and the very odd day pigeon bashing (hopefully). phaedra1106
Nothing too exciting Just be your normal self, listen carefully to what he says and answer whatever he asks truthfully. And of course before he gets there remember to chant the Pigeon Watch mantra ............. "I must remember to offer Tea and HobNobs, Tea and HobNobs" (repeat until calm or unconscious)

TIGHTCHOKE
SGC Grant not renewal I spoke to him and he said he didn't have his diary on him and will call me back. I know he hasn't spoke to my "Referee" as of yet. The fact that he hasn't spoken to your referee yet is NOTHING to either worry about OR base any assumptions upon. The F.E.O. does NOT need to speak to them!
paul2012
Christ they are quick up there. Here devon and cornwall i applied waited 14 weeks for interview and another 2 weeks til cert now, Would make the total 19 weeks from start to finish assuming it actually happens in the given time scale
sc0tt
Thanks guys. 3 gun cabinet is installed. I certainly cant pull it out. How do they "tug"? I've had mine open and tried to rip it out the ground but that would defeat the point Looking foward to it now. Cant believe how infectious shooting is! bucksshooter
They open it up and tug it from the top. My FEO really went for it luckily mine never budged
sc0tt
Haha I did wonder. Proper cheaters. If it was open they wouldn't need to yank it. Me and the old man tried pulling it out the floor earlier. No chance!
