sitsinhedges
This is OLD A0. The picture is straight off the NSI website, wouldn't the recipe be for the current A0?
Floating Chamber
Current A0 is different. There is a warning on the Claygame disc.
sitsinhedges
Current A0 is different. There is a warning on the Claygame disc. So what makes you think those recipes that are from the manufacturers website are incorrect for the current A0?

Guest cookoff013
Was there no load information knocking about for 28 and 24 rgams of steel shot at very fast speeds i.e. 1500fps for the lighter one! yes there is, i personally have proofed some loads. first forget 1oz and 1,1/8oz thats far too much steel shot to ever achieve 1500fps. 24g loads just under 1500fps at 1450 ish. i forgot the numbers i`ve the certificate somewhere. i used the csd078 bp24 wad.. and i used A0. it was new A0 with a very recent date of manufacture. i think there was a thread here. i`ll find it. sitsinhedges
So what makes you think those recipes that are from the manufacturers website are incorrect for the current A0? Trust me. The point is this. Acknowledging that you probably know more than anyone else on here, what is the point of chipping in with glib one liners that just leave everyone confused? Why not give the OP some information that can actually address his opening post and the rest of us can learn from instead of creating doubt then scurrying away? The Claygame CD is at least 10yrs old but that link is straight from Nobelsport as it was yesterday. Now why not share some useful information you have with us, Alan? The other point of course is that once people stop trying to help each other there will be no forum, and far fewer reloaders. pestcontrol1
Current A0 is different. There is a warning on the Claygame disc. What is the difference between the old Ao and the new Ao as i have made some of the lead with the data off there websit and not yet used them Cheers PC1 Edited June 20, 2013 by pestcontrol1
B B
Trust me. Old Ao as you put it was yellow in collouration and stooped around 1988 the new Ao is the stuff on that link, its a little quicker burning than the old yellow stuff. The Old yellow AO superseeded Poudre T and ran in production from the late 70s.
Guest cookoff013
A0 is good for 24g speed steel, up to MV 1500fps. after that its got no more to give under 740bar. its not a bad shell. the data from the website should be up to date.
