Rat smoker field test.

I posted a short video of my new rat smoker a few days ago and have been asked by a few people what is it like in the field. So I made this short vid for those interested.

The vid was to demo the fact that the smoker doesn't blind you and goes through the holes.

get yourself a 1mtr piece of waste pipe, with a univeral coupling, then a short bit of metal pipe, the metal pipe from an old hoover works well, fit together, then use that as an extension tube, hold in other hand to the fogging machine, stick plastic end down hold, and metal tip of smoker into metal pipe, that bit gets hot and the reason for needing metal as the plastic would melt,

 

it saves you bending all day, which you'll notice, also being stood up gives you a better feild of view on all rat holes, and bolting rats, thus easy to call the dog, being bent down, can see you miss spoting rats

Anyone tried a wall paper steamer? with the stripper plate of a serious amount of steam comes out, might give it a go meself. Only problem might be extension cables.
