pellet choice? what works well in your bsa?

iv got myself bsa hornet and i love it tbh! using aa diablo hunters at the min but the gun dobt like em some group well then il get a tin that are all over the place!

 

iv been.out of airgunning for about ten years now still shot but with shotgun and rifle! got the bsa for abit of ratting plinking ect! can anybody recomend me a good pellet for bsa barrels or just in general!

Try Daystate Rangemaster li. Worked well in a BSA Xl tactical I had!

Evening bud , most BSA like a larger head size ie 5.52 in .22 and 4.52 in 177 also my be worth giving the barrel a pull thou if ts a bit cruded up

AA field are generally a good pellet and perform well in most airguns

My BSA Lightning XL in 0.177 likes RWS super domes as do my Weihrauchs 90 & 100

Forget AA pellets, pile of deformed rubbish. I object to throwing 10-20% of pellets I have paid for away because they are so badly deformed.

 

I have found that Crosman Premier Ultra Magnums work superbly in BSA barrels! Used them in a .22 Super 10 (or 3), Ultra (short version of Hornet), Hornet (refurbished one once) and a .177 Super 10!

 

Crosman Premier Ultra Magnums are also known as Daystate Li I believe, only they come without the Daystate price.

My BSAs like RWS Superdomes or Superfields they work well in most guns.

 

I feed my BSA Super 10 Bisley magnums it likes them very accurate and hard hitting.

 

Has the mole says Crosman Premier ultra magnums also known has accupells work very well.

A very nice and well finished pellet and look like tracers when out lamping.

One I did try was Verminpell and they were very accurate in most of my rifles.

cheers lads thats very helpfull! gunna try a few pellet types the aa are no good for me! i know the gun can group 5 shots in a 5p size circle at 30yds so its down to the pellet choice now

my bsa lightning xl likes JSB exact in 5.51 they are very nice pellets no duff ones and performed better than aa diablo for me and are cheaper

My Ultra LOVES Bisley magnums, a heavy pellet, but it loves the all the same

To try what works best in your barrel.

air arms or jsb exacts work like a dream in my hw 100.i prefer the air arms pellet tho.ive had rabbits out at 55 yards easy.but everybody to there own all guns differ aswell

The Crosman Premier Ultras are also sold as Webley Accupell or Daystate Li, both cost a bit more than the Crosman tins! They hit hard and are very accurate!
