Cannon
That's the way to do it. Always wondered if the police would permit a .357 rifle for vermin control over here. Such a nice caliber to shoot from a rifle.
Underdog
No moderater fitted (hate the things). This load is as loud as a 410 I guess. Full power loads in the region of 20-12g. Cost-no idea! I think 1400 loads per lb of powder. I got these bullets for £11 per hundred (old stock). I wanged one at a crow at something like 125yds, forgot some wind and it seemed to just go down it's side! U.

Imperfection
price per cart against a .22? As i shoot one also i was curious as to how much the cost is so i worked it out. 1lb Alliant 2400= £40 (using 9 grains of powder you can get 777 reloads from a tub) Federal small pistol primers= £40 (1000) 157 grain RNFP hard cast bullet= £0 (i cast them myself) With the powder i use it works out to 10p per round. BRYAN3
I have the Marlin Cowboy in 357Mag for range use only. I am surprised that damage looks very minimal there. My HMR takes half the head off. Bryan.

Underdog
well done pal, bet you were eating corn dodgers and drinking out an horses hoof print after, ha ha No not really, I had a beef sandwich before I went out and usually carry a small flask of tea. Horses hoof prints kept giving me a bad tum! U.
bicykillgaz
Nice bit of kit there!
coyotemaster
Nice rifle U., it would be VERY appropos here where you could have a sidearm the same caliber and never need further ammo to hunt up and pack. That caliber would be lights out on our Whitetails at close to medium(<1ooyds) range. Some shoot the .44 mag in rifles here as well as the "Dirty Harry" pistol packers.
