rec-baller
a few weeks ago a freind of mine rang me up to say he,d been approched by a fella to shoot on some land , it turned out the land was only 2.5 acre back garden so he turned it down , but he passed my number over to the landowner and told the land owner to ring me - which he did do. i must be honest i was going to refuse as well but the landowner said " i don,t expect you to do it for nothing, i,ll cover youre petrol and ammo !! who could refuse. anyway i have been going for about 6 weeks when the land owner approached me and said that his next door neighbour had been watching me and had taken an intrest in me shooting the rabbits ( about 24 in the last month ) and could he pass my number over for the guy to ring me " why not . its only next door said i " when the neighbour rang me we arranged to meet up the next night, i went round expecting another 2 acre back garden BUT on talking with the farmer he explains OH NO-- ITS 2 FARMS !!! ABOUT 150 - 200 ACRES !! i was amazed and said what did he want shooting EVERTHING was the reply-- deer, fox, rabbits crow . magpies, pigeons cant wait to start on it tommorow night. so it just goes to show-- never say no to even the smallest peice of land shaun

lakeside1000
It just seems to snowball, I started with a 14 acre field a friend wanted the rabbits and pigeons keeping off, someone saw me on the field and asked for help to clear some rabbits from an 11 acre field he rented from a farmer, turned out it was right behind where I lived, went to check with the farmer it was ok to shoot a few rabbits, he invited me to shoot the whole farm, around 120 acres , but not just pigeons and rabbits, but everything that was legal pheasants, partridge, ducks, geese ,hares, fox ,deer, crows , pigeons and rabbits, as long as it was in season, been on it now for 3 months and its looking very promising, and the old boy is a really nice bloke, loves to chat , even comes and sits in the hide now and again to watch.
