al4x
I will be intrigued with that munty and might put the cam down there again later in the year to see just how good he is, I don't know but I reckon he might not be as good as he looks. Compared to the last one i shot that wasn't quite medal stuff he looks like he lacks the age and bulk but we shall see, the fallow tend to wander through rather than be resident but its nice to see them present through the day. That fox I had an evening where I shot two on the trot coming in along a tramline the third I left for a mate who didn't manage to get on it and ever since it keeps being spotted at random times all over the farm

stu nesling
surprised you dont get lots of false triggers from the grass/weeds moving around. can you mount the one in munty pic a bit higher, it will give you more range. great pics, what model bushnell? mike-b
wow great pics how much does the set up you have set you back??
al4x
Set up was about £100 from what I remember, it's interesting but I've tried it far higher with poor results, at low level it's surprising how well it works. You do get false triggers from grass on windy conditions but where it was it was good to have a bit of cover because it helps to stop them being stolen by people way off footpaths
stu nesling
know what you mean, i tend to bolt mine to posts, just in case a trespasser walks through or mount them up trees with a ladder......that puts em off especially if they see em and cant get to em. as they know you have their picture! stu nesling
mike-b most take aa's anything up to 12 of them. mine take 4aa's and if you use good batts like lithium ultimates they can last up to a year even in freezing conditions. useful bits of kit if you want to know whats lurking
