hi guys ive just got my new remy 22.250, its a vssf mark 2,i shot it in over 2 days and ime very pleased with its accuracy,it shoots 40 or 50 grain noslers around the half inch or just over at 110 yards which i think is good for a standard 22.250.also i got a ace ultra SL5 silencer which is very quiet for the size of it,overhaul ime very pleased with it, i just need to make the trigger a bit lighter and it will be a serious foxing tool, cheers simon....

very nice simon :good: arguably the best calibre for fox control in my opinion.

ye pal you are right, zeroed at 110 yard with a 40 grain bullet with a good load in it, its around half inch drop give or take a bit at 200 yard, amazing realy, but i have to say ive used a 6ppc for the last 15 years and that is one hell of a caliber as well in my eyes, cheers simon

Nice one.

I had a zero check with mine the other day as I wasn't too impressed with its groups at Catton the other weekend and it back on track one inch @ 185 yds. It was my reloading that let me down.

ive had that all my life dougy with 22.250, one day its lethal the next i think ime gona scrap this gun for life,i do have a soft spot for it though for some reason, now a just keep my barrel seriously clean and never over heat it and i find it ok, touch wood ha ha cheers simon....

What sort of cash is that moderator??

it was 260 notes pal,at the time i did,nt smile at the price, but honestly i highly rate them now, there is no blast at all, just the bullet breaking the sound barrier,if you get one you will not be disappointed, ime more than happy with it,cheers simon....

hi mate nice rifle may I ask where you got that cheek bag from atb tony

i got that from the midland game fair pal, they where selling them off for 20 quid, but the first time i ever see them riflecraft was selling them in magazine, think it was shooting sports, not a bad thing realy, i also use another called a snipers cheek piece they are 30 quid now i think, cheers simon...

No-one ever said they were lacking, just trying something different.

Good to see you're happy anyway Simon, I read a lot of positive reviews about the remingtons when I was deciding what to get, particularly regarding accuracy.

you know pal ive never realy been a big fan of remys my self as ive used sako,s and RPA,S for years but this gun seriously shoots, ive used it 3 times now and ive only got soft points left for it which in my other more expensive guns they shoot rubbish, ime out foxing with it soon and i feel confident to hit any thing up to 300 yard with it with the cheap amo i only have left, ive changed my mind about remys, they are a serious shooter, cheers simon...
