suggs
i was wondering, if you dont eat your kill's what do you do with them? theres only so many wabbit and pigeon pies you can eat lol, and what if you dont fancy eating it anyway. do you just leave the bodys for the scavangers to feast on, or offer them to the land owners.... henry d
Only kill what you and your workers can eat. If you get a red letter day you may feel so inclined to sell to a game dealer or in small numbers in feather or fur to a restaurant etc.

Cranfield
Eat, give away, sell, or bury. Do a "Search", this is a very frequently asked question and there are some very long threads on the subject. Some of them very recent. the hitman
Suggs , you have to look beyond the pigeon pie mentality, if you have a glut sell them to a game dealer , for smaller quantities look at the recipes section. My kids were appalled at the thought of eating pigeon and game , now they have taken to it.

Hairy Pat
All my edible game and vermin goes in the freezer or gets given away to family, friends, and neighbours, it is surprising how much vegetable and fruit produce comes back, also beer and wine . Also why buy farm reared, water and antibiotic filled meat when you can shoot and process healthier meat yourself? Any inedible vermin or breasted pigeon cadavers go in the hedge as there are loads of badgers on the shoot and they clean up in no time. Pat What I don't eat or give away gets boiled up for the dogs. Some carcases go for soup for the dogs on cold nights and others get used for baiting up foxes. There's only foxes that get buried or put out of sight for the badgers. Dave

If i shoot duck or snipe i leave it with the farmer and he's only to happy to take it otherwise rabbits get left out for mr.fox or if i shoot alot they go as dog food. al4x
I've one farm I shoot on where the farmer likes rabbits left where they fall, this is because he has a lot of buzzards about and it gives them something to eat rather than pheasants and partridges. otherwise we eat a lot as do relatives etc
