Archie-fox Posted June 27, 2013 Report Share Posted June 27, 2013 Went for a look around last night trying to find if the cubs are out and about yet...managed to pick this well on dog cub, saw him at 80yards looking round the fence post, had a good rest on the bonnet and delivered a 55grn ballistic tip to his head...as I was walking down to pick him up flashed the lamp to see another cub sniffing at him but I fluffed the shot, I new as soon as I pulled the trigger it was a miss...but il clean them up over the next few nights... simon6ppc Posted June 27, 2013 Report Share Posted June 27, 2013 ye good shot pal, the land i go on ive found 5 earths this years,ive had some good nights out to be honest with results like your picture . but ye keep at em. we are getting our pheasants in 3 or 4 weeks and in our main wood we have just found cubs in a hole around 70 yard from our pen, they most have moved in from some were last week , so i dont think they will be celabrating august bank holiday if you know what i mean....
