Cheers stuart I had a similar problem with my superten , those seals are really good but you can get heavy duty white nylon ones, which are the dogs if you can track some down
tweedledee
register at rapid 7 owners forum, someone on there sells these orings at buttons.easy to replace, are you sure its not the gun if it only leaks when attached
fruity
Try bestfittings.co.uk good range of spares and o rings on there, the lads on the rapid owner forum are claiming
NIGHT SEARCHER
EBAY mate you get 25 Rapid 7 0 rings for £4.00. I got 25 for my Super ten and it sorted the leak out. I have used one 0 ring in over two years so the quality is very good. The 0 rings blow if you don`t discharge the air before unscrewing the buddy bottle fully. Have a look on You Tube on filling a Super ten buddy bottle. Edited July 28, 2013 by NIGHT SEARCHER

border
hi , when i had my rapids got the o rings from theoben , and the secret is put a fine smear of molly cote grease 33 ,around the o ring i used the same o ring for about a 1yr , and i go out most nights, infact my old rapid never had a leak untill about 5yr old , hope this helps, border... Rimfireboy
There are other seals inside the block, it could be one of them. Smear soapy water over the caps in the block and also over the muzzle to find the leak.
pork chop
when i had a rapid got though quite a few seals then started using moly grease as border has already said ,should'nt be a problem if you do the same

srspower
or you could sell it and get a proper gun like a daystate airwolf. I'd love one, I fired one at the British shooting show a couple of years ago it was like clicking a mouse! But unless you're going down the FAC road why not just get a mk4 with the MCT action? Fair bit cheaper I think.

Personally I will probably just get a .17hmr or a .22lr when my FAC comes through so a daystate huntsman .177 at 12 ft lbs would be my dream airgun Edited August 1, 2013 by srspower
pork chop
my airwolf runs at 30 or 40 ft/lbs,i run it at 40 its just as accurate at 40 as 30.not sure on shot count but its a few mags never ran it out but must be 80/100 shots.lad i know had a huntsman in 177 and it was a very nice and accurate gun.fac airguns have their place just like rimfires depends on what you want to do.i use my airwolf mostly round the farm buildings in winter knocking crows off power lines 80/90yrds out

turbo33
Everybody's different fella..see what the airwolf's are like when they're twenty years old. Only time will tell.. Agreed RFB, one mans poison is another mans pleasure thats the down side theres alot to go wrong, not knocking the rapid my first one was great put alot of bunnys in the bag with that gun I think there's a lot of unnecessary fear of the electronics on the Daystate/Airwolf/MK4IS. In terms of the rifle itself, the build quality is second to none IMHO, as a consequence of which, the rifle itself will last as long, if not longer than any other. Mechanically, I see no reason not to be able to replace 'O' rings etc in the same way as you would with any other PCP if you want to do it yourself. The stock comes off with one hex bolt to reveal the circuit board which can be un screwed in 20 seconds in the unlikely event it needs to be replaced/repaired. It takes longer to fill the Rapid with air! The same with the battery. Daystate air fill, uncomplicated 10 second job. The ridiculous sequence and time it takes to properly take the buddy bottle off/fill/back on the Rapid to avoid blowing 'O' rings(See Shauns video below for the correct procedure) together with the faff of the constant 'O' ring replacement and leaking buddy bottle valves far outweighs the circuit board/battery issue. How many times does this crop up? I'm not knocking anyones choice of rifle. Thankfully there are some things we are still allowed a personal choice. However, I have had Rapids, Weihrauchs, Bsa's, Air Arms, all of which are good rifles. But the Daystate is in a completely different league and puts a grin on my face everytime I go out with it beyond the compare of any of the others.
