Pigeonwings123
Been out pigeon shooting today on swarth rape birds everywhere when I got there at 9am. Got set up up and waited for birds to come had 40 down by 11. The day went steady up until 2 and the birds went crazy I was having left and rights like they were going out of fashion. Backed up at 4 due to the combine coming up the road to carry on cutting finished with 184 brilliant day

Perrycallow70
Had a good afternoon apart from the farmer cutting his hedgerows so had to move from the hide for 45 minutes lol. 63 pigeons and 2 crows. Set up at 2 pigeons just wouldn't commit took my whirley in, just left out a flapper n a few dead birds on cradles and they were suicidal. Great couple hours out before the heavens opened. dead eye alan
Seem,s like most of you are finding that the day of the whirly is over, it,s been a repellent hear all year.
Perrycallow70
Speaking to a bloke last night he reckons put the whirley further up wind from your hide so it draws the birds in past your hide so you get a shot off before they flare from the whirley. Going to try this this weekend .
