secretagentmole
Copied from Airgun BBS thread which was copied from a facebook group..... Hi GaryJust a quick email to let you know that David Graham was charged and remanded in police custody on 13th August. He attended Cheletneham Magistrates Court on 14th August where he finally saw sense and pleaded guilty to 8 counts of fraud. He was sentenced to 26 weeks imprisonment, and is currently residing at her majesty's pleasure. The good news is that there will obviously be no trial, and therefore there is no requirement for yoi attend court. The bad news is that there appears to be no order for him to pay compensation, despite me placing a recommendation on the file. Which in a nutshell means that it is highly unlikely that you will be compensated for your losses.
JDog
Surely yes, yes, yes and oh no, no, no due to the lack of compensation?
secretagentmole
If you are one of the 8 that he has plead guilty to it makes it a lot easier to get a judgement against him in a small claims or county court. If you are someone else who has lost money to this nasty piece of work, you will find it easier to get a judgement against him as now his card is somewhat marked. Also a compensation order may not have given you all of your money back. An individual claim against him will. Could be financially a lot worse for the little scumbag! bruno22rf
Doubt that you will get any money back from scum like that-there's virtually no way to force him to pay.

secretagentmole
David Graham has scammed lots of money from people by selling thin Air Arms, non existent R10s, invisible Daystates etc to people on many forums including Gunwatch, Gunstar, Airgun BBS, The Hunting Life, Rapid7 Owners Club, he has also swindled a lot of money from people on Angling forums selling non existent rods, reels etc. He has been long overdue a stretch inside and finally it has caught up with him. An interesting further update is that investigations are still ongoing into his latest Gunstar scam and I hope that the second he is released he is re-arrested for that! Would make I laugh! secretagentmole
Why didn't the mods on those sites ban him? He comes back more often than a kipper breakfast! He will create fake ids with different user name, email etc. He will use reset his router and get a new IP address, he keeps pretending to be in places as far apart as Penzance and Aberdeen! He uses the anonymity of the web to hide. I just wish the courts banned him from the internet as he uses it to perpetrate his crimes! evo
26 weeks in prison so that means he will do 3 months at the very most and then let out a bit early for good behaviour,, and they say crime doesn't pay there is only one winner there and that's him, he will be made up with that decision, they should cut the pricks hands off like they would in some other countries,,certainly would not use the internet again then

malantone
unless things have changed since my time in the prison service, he would be banned from owning using or carrying a firearm for 5years.
secretagentmole
I apologise sir , it is 5 years, not three, that is even better news!!!

chrisjpainter
And then on release banned from owning an air rifle for 5 years! I don't think not actually having an air rifle has ever stopped him trying to sell one!
secretagentmole
Thing is Chris if we can prove it is el muppeto tying to sell an air rifle, the police can be informed he is claiming to own one, which may well result in a full arms search being carried out at his residence. That will be everything from attic to under the floorboards, possibly even removal of kitchen units! Then if no gun is found it is fraud (obviously) or if a gun is found, back inside for illegal possession!
