diddy
Will the birds be wary of this? I plan to shoot in the same place as yesterday just wondering if I will be wasting my time of not and chance elsewhere?
Actionpigeons
Its something I really try not to do. Its a bit like roost shooting the same wood two nights in a row, never seem to get as many birds. try a different flight line over the same field if you dont have some where else to go, even if its only a cpl of hundred yards away it would be a better idea. I am going to the same area that I shot yesterday with a client (PW member,he had 52) today with a client but I wont shoot from the same place. Just my thoughts, up to you. Good luck. The Essex Hunter
Will the birds be wary of this? I plan to shoot in the same place as yesterday just wondering if I will be wasting my time of not and chance elsewhere? I have tried it in the past with a poor second day....Other times I shot a field and only got a few but stuck it out watching the lines and went away with a better plan in my head, as the few hours in the hide I learnt a lot more about that block of land. How many did you get to make you want too shoot it today? TEH

superspark
I always move around the field "if its a big one " it has worked well in the past for me, keep them guessing.
pigeon controller
If I have to shoot the same farm the next day I will always move position/ field.
Cranfield
Shooting the same hide on the next day is something I avoid, but at certain times of the year I find that some fields will only take a few hours of shooting before drying up. This means I go out with the plan to move 3 or 4 times. On days like this I will shoot the same hide(s) on the next day, as I am only going to be there a shortish time, I normally do reasonably well. sitsinhedges
It's normal to be drawn back to somewhere that you had a good bag yesterday but it rarely lives up to expectations. Even if the birds are there they're wary and wont decoy.
Hamster
It depends on the crop and the residual traffic, I've had very satisfactory second days on drilled peas in late March or April. I know it 's not strictly the same but often a day spent out in the field will mean you set up a few yards away on the second day and end up in a better place to get maximum draw off the flight lines.
