the last engineer
lovely looking gun mate, the only thing i dont like is that chequering style, prefer the old diamond shape to the round knobby laser cut type, small gripe, wish you well with it, good looking oil finish in matte as well. njc110381
That's a very nice gun, good choice. I've been told that my Beretta is the first one to have packed up at my local club, so you will almost certainly get good service and no trouble from it! You can't beat a Beretta in my opinion, lovely feel to them

Catamong
Gary, Welcome to the fascinating sport of clay shooting, "you have purchased wisely" as they say, because the 682 Gold E is a superb piece of kit. Get yourself a couple of extra chokes, skeet & quarter, so you can shoot Skeet / Skeet or Quarter / Quarter in both barrels. Don't buy them from your local gunshop, look on e-bay, there's usually some for sale on there. Most beginners make the big mistake of shooting with too tight chokes, I shoot Skeet or Quarter on the vast majority of Sporting Clays. I'm sure we'll meet up before too long at a local clay shoot. ChrisNicholls
Lovely gun, you won't go far wrong with a Beretta. Most beginners make the big mistake of shooting with too tight chokes, I shoot Skeet or Quarter on the vast majority of Sporting Clays.Cat. Interesting, that would be my choice too, not that I shoot many clays. I was reading an article yesterday about George Digweed and it said that he shoots with two identical Perazzi's, both with fixed chokes, one has full and full and the other has half and half. Wrong to compare us mere mortals with the shooting machine that is George Digweed I suppose.
