rimfire4969
I am looking at buying a gun from Clay Shooters Supplies in Market Harborough www.shooterssupplies.co.uk (website being updated) the gun will be sent to my local RFD so i will not get a chance to look at it until i pick it up and is quite a few quid. They have been very helpful and sent me loads of photos. Can anyone who has used or uses this shop let me know what they are like, if their desciptions are spot on etc. I am not looking to knock the company, quite the oppersite, but i would like a bit more back ground before i send them a large wad. PM me if you prefer. Anyhelp would be great. Thanks Rimmy
zx10mike
once bought a 204 when i first started shooting and it would not group below 4" at 100.turned out after much expense £1.00 a shot and a parking ticket out side there shop taking it back that the twist rate was wrong for the ammo.left a bitter taste that his lack of knowledge cost me loads of time and money but in the end he took it back. the chap who owns it seems nice enough in person and don't think he would knowingly stiff someone but i would not trust him to ***** the condition of a bore etc. atb mike
Matt_
I had my lanber from there, from zx10mikes post yeah he's a cracking chap but think his heart may lie in shotguns... Place has been there for years always remember the old wooden sign on the side of it from when I was knee high to a grass hopper. sitsinhedges
I've been in there a few times. Seems to be a typical gunshop really, friendly enough but not exactly giving the stuff away.
JBS
I've been in there today, shame I didn't know which gun it was I could of given it a once over! Tiny little gun shop and as usual not the cheapest, nice guys in there though, I'm sure they would be fair in their description
killer_pigeon
I bought my first o/u from there and it was good friendly service with sound advice and well priced cartridges. Not used him for rifle's so cant comment on that side but shotty side was spot on for me.
Sprinter
Website has been "being updated" for as long as I remember. Shop been there for ages but was previously Coles Gun. Known for not being the cheapest around, but not too bad. I've not been in for a while but I could probably spin by this afternoon if you want to pm me what it is you are looking at? ChrisAsh
Dont forget you are covered by the distant selling regulations and goods have to be acuratly described, worst situation you get caught for two way RFD costs if you dont like it
