ilovemyheckler
Having recently moved near to Aberdeen (approx. 25 miles east of the city) I am now looking for a clay ground (preferably one that offers lessons as well) no more than an hours drive. Any suggestions and/or recommendations appreciated. Thanks

beeredup
I'd be a bit wet wouldn't I? I meant 25 miles West of the city lol made me chuckle too i am amazed at the lack of clay grounds around aberdeen my father lives in Dyce and all the grounds are a good distance away which is a shame as i go up there Salmon fishing quite often and would love to go out on the clays while i am up there
WGD
Dundee - Auchterhouse, highly recommended Doesn't exactly fulfil the description "near" though, does it?
B25Modelman
I used to go to Inverurie GC for DTL, Maud for Sporting, and there was a club close in to Aberdeen but hey it was 25 years ago. Contact Andersons Gun Shop in Aberdeen and they will point you. Edited October 3, 2013 by B25Modelman
sako751sg
Think Broadbog not far from Alford has opened again and shouldn't be too far from you.Blackdog has a DLT club beside Balmedie.
stumpy69
Seals cove, next to Cove, just south of the city they offer lessons too. If you call Andersons Guns they can give you all the information you will need as they also own the ground.

ilovemyheckler
Thanks for all the info. Auchterhouse is too far for regular shooting but I may try Seal Cove on Sunday. I couldn't find anything online re: Lower Deeside or Inveurie
