The Essex Hunter Posted October 4, 2013 Report Share Posted October 4, 2013 4 foxes this week and all at a good distance off the sticks, this last one was a classic run back and look back at the lamp… When I first spotted the eyes they were out around 150 yards but with a horse paddock behind there was no chance of a shot. Then he disappeared only to reappear a long way along the headland, this fox was going one way if I was not quick! I did take my amber filter off as a front on fox is not so wide so the bit extra from the white light did help…284yards back to my sticks which I left them as a marker… Four feet long like the one from the sheep farm..
