-Mongrel-
Maybe. But if I am attacked with a table leg I bet there no where to be seen. !!! Hahahaha! With comments like you've been making, you'd be more likely to see the Pope coming to help you! Anyway, a table legs not a firearm or knife etc...it's just a stick, so why would you expect to see armed response?

Mr Stanley, 46, was carrying a table leg in a plastic bag when he was shot by police marksmen who had received a report of a man carrying a sawn-off shotgun. An easy mistake to make. Cannon
Well after reading that copied and pasted snippet I sure hope nobody mistakes my generously proportioned middle wicket for a sawn off.

An easy mistake to make. It upset my grandad a lot. Not sure if he knew him or just his relationship with the sport but it wasn't long after he refused to renew his licence. And so sold up. Lives in Spain now hates England with a passion.

Probably more likely to too mistake it for one of these. Edited October 7, 2013 by ordnance
Barney86
Why the heck didn't he tap on my door and let me know? I heard him come in anyway as he walked on my gravel drive at about 7 AM surely he didn't think we would not notice? Several years back the local keeper organised a vermin shoot, which included a walk up through the woods. A couple of dogs got excited & at a closer look there were two cammo'd guys watching the lane through some binos because they suspected it was a drug dealers drop-off point He says some top brass turned up to appologise to him after. An easy mistake to make. That about the same standard as the guy they shot in Hastings.. They suspected him of being some sort of drug dealer. They burst in on this guy who was in naked in his bed. They shot him dead and then stated that they thought that he was armed and posing a threat to them. Perhaps he was in possession of a large weapon at the time. Not very good is it.
