aris
I used my Mora companion (formerly known as the Clipper) to bone a leg of lamb tonight. A couple of goes on the steel and it was scary hair-shaving razor sharp again. Went through the lamb like butter. I don't think you would have any problem at all on a rabbit, or even larger game such as a deer. You can get them for less than a tenner. Django
I have had a MORA for a couple of years now and they really are great knives, and as previously said, you don't need to worry about loosing it in the field of damaging it as they don't cost the earth. I also have a little pocket knife that I carry with me all the time, made by T.W Ablett. It is a handmade knife from one of the last Sheffield knife makers, and it is a great little tool. They are about £30, but for handmade quality that really will last years I don't think that is too much to ask

norfolkboy84
Where's the best place to get one?
Frenchieboy
Where's the best place to get one? Many places that sell "outdoor equipment" sell Moras or Opinels, I find Ronnie Sunshines pretty cheap and fairly quick on their dispatch and delivery mate! Colster
I like the Mora and keep a couple for use prepping bunnies at home but to take into the field I prefer a folder. I really like the Marquette that Blades and Bows used to do, this is the nearest I can find to it now though; http://www.bladesandbows.co.uk/memphis-lock-knife-2592-p.asp Perfect shaped blade for bunny gutting.
