images could be better are you using a HD recorder? also be careful 12volt camera systems like blowing the mini DVR`s up, anybody who tells otherwise is telling porkypies

cheers antoni

Yeah I agree Antoni, it's only a 480 DVR. I'm after a HDVR but not sure which one to buy if I'm honest. Lawmate looks good but I don't want to film without sound...

Good video once again ...keep em coming.

Thanks mate, I'll do my best :good:

i wish i could help you out bud, i do sell the HD units but i`ve had many returns from lads using 12v diy jobbys, watec jobbys and nitesite systems all units blow the DVR, if all gear is not plugged in to each other before turning on

it`s like flogging a dead horse telling them down phone what to do, then few days later blown dvr`s comes back ;-(

might put video up about this problem

cheers antoni

Cheers for the heads up Antoni. Mine cuts out sometimes when installing the cables but it always resets if I take the battery out...

yip, what happens is the pin plug that pops into the DVR as positive and negative close together and if the camera module is 12volt and live, it arcs the input terminal in the dvr. The dvr is a 3.7V - 5V system and can`t withstand power surge. The manufacturer who supply us is well a-where of this now and will not allow us to sell out to 12 volt systems anymore. They are right in there actions as many units have been sent back all with the same problem and you only have to forget to plug in proper once then POP

cheers antoni
