cobber
Evening Has anyone used these before. I just about emptied my cartridge bag on Saturday and went to local dealer and his shelves were empty. Apparently there is a massive shortage of 30 gram 6 in North Yorkshire and he is having trouble getting stock. I bought a slab as that was all there was but have never used them. Ttfjlc
Never used them personally but bought my dad some for Christmas last year and he seems to get on with them, one thing to point out and that is with the price/reputation of this cartridge you cannot blame them for a miss! cobber
Damn... I used the catridge excuse on Saturday after missing a load of sitters. New excuse needed...reckon i'll blame the dog. Its the only thing left to explain my shooting.
Ttfjlc
Ah the dog excuse! Thanks for reminding me of that one, stored up my sleeve ready for the next shoot!
cobber
Always good to have a back up. Don't forget the sun was in the wrong place, it was the wrong kind of rain, I'm wearing too many clothes and can't swing, I damaged my shoulder picking up lunch or I didn't realise I was actually supposed to shoot them. I thought you needed breeding stock!!!!
Ttfjlc
Slow down I can't write them down quick enough A couple more to add are lead free cartridges and going soft (I just couldn't bring myself to shoot the poor thing)
figgy
Very good cartridges, I use the 28 bore ones. Have used some 12 bore ones in the past. Basically the same as Black Gold without the Gordon recoil system. Figgy
filzee
Worked fine for me on Sat on the Pheasants. They are a good cartridge just a tad on the pricey side
Mentalmac
Haha - laughed out loud at the excuses. I was seen by the a long time a go landowner jumping like a girl when I let off a shot. It was just so deadly quiet it got me haha. I blamed that for my poor score that day.
