Fatcatsplat
Loads of social media reporting that antis in balaclavas had recently disrupted a shoot. Anyone know anything factual about the reports?
TIGHTCHOKE
It was on the 16th of November apparently. Rimotu66 posted the following in the game shooting section; I got this email today from Guns on Pegs, has anyone had any experience of this? Dear Mr. xxxx,There is an anti-shooting group that appears to be targeting shoots with the objective of capturing photographs of people taking part in the shoot losing their temper whilst holding a gun. Their aim is to send these pictures to the police to get peoples licenses suspended. The CLA Eastern Region have reported an incident on Saturday 16th November where 8 people in black wearing balaclavas arrived with the intent of causing as much disruption as possible to a shoot. We recommend that you take the following into account should this happen to you on a shoot day: Put your gun in its sleeve straight away Call the police to notify them Remain calm and do not allow yourself to react to their actions as this is what they wantEnjoy your shooting.Best, xxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxx Edited November 22, 2013 by TIGHTCHOKE

Fatcatsplat
It's just that there's no detail and a link to their insurance cover that makes me doubt the legitimacy of it.
johnny
It was just up the road from me. They got there info wrong as where they turned up they weren't shooting but they were next door. So they just turned some feeders over. Most of them where students which just rock up to be a pain in the **** and a few trouble makers. The shoots were small farmers shoots, I would of thought they would go for a larger commercial shoot or maybe even sandringham.

Lord Geordie
why?? going about a lawful activity and if you know the law........ Have a group of SAS training in the area all camo'd up. Then when the antis turn up in their balaclavas let the SAS surround them and put a frightner on them
tlennox
Countryside Alliance sent an email round about this. They recommend to put your gun away and call the police. Probably take the old bill four days to visit you though.
