Gordon R
I had one of these from 1988 to about 2008. I shot very well when I first got it, but it was relegated to occasional gun, by a bewildering array of more expensive whims. It started out as full and full, got opened up to 1/4 and 1/2 and finally got opened up further to skeet and skeet. I got rid, but regretted it to this day. Last night, I saw the same model in Bamfords at Eccleston. It looked mint, with the top lever well over to the right. After picking up some shells from Webber, I headed up to see Laurence at Bamfords. The gun had just been sold, although it was still in the shop. He was kind enough to let me handle the gun and see what I had missed out on. £675 for the best nick Winchester I have seen in about 20 years. I felt like crying. They honestly were / are a cracking gun at silly low prices.
