colin lad
Have a look at my diy build in the diy section, i rather laughingly nicknamed it the ohmlaut, through the scope so no tv screen and a 600tvl resolution, better than whats on offer off the shelf currently. sounds good will take a look but unless it's something i can make with my butchers knives i am pretty much stuffed colin
walt1980
I've got an ns200 at the min and happy with it but reckon I might get an Arrow and see how it performs! Santa obviously thought I'd been naughty so il just have to treat myself instead!

welshwarrior
Do you need a parallax adjustable scope for these add on like the old tubes ones? My S&B isn't but I still want NV
al4x
Yes is the simple answer, I'm really looking forward to seeing Colin's once it arrives, being able to use like an archer is a major bonus with nv
theosmith
nv add on works properly with focus but when i spoke to starlight i asked if it would work on my s and b and said maybe too 4-5 mag max
barney 66
What scope are you putting it behind Colin ? I have a Swaro 2.5-15x56 hoping it will work behind that

theosmith
could be worth asking to borrow some ones, my friend has ordered one and offered to loan it to me straight away! so i can try it on my klassik and see what it will wind up to

barney 66
i use a watec camera and home made gear,,,,,,,,,i have had ns200, ne500lr, pulsar n750 they all have there down sides What suits one person isn,t always going to suit another, Tha Archer is food to look through but to long for me the PVS14 looks really good size and image but can't justify the money, so if the arrow is anywhere near these I know it won't be as good but for the price If it does the job I will be happy Edited January 3, 2014 by barney
theosmith
it wont scratch the surface of a gen 3 thats for sure and at £350 i doubt it will even sniff at a n750 but the price is affordable and can go on many guns. the thing youl find with rear add on is you may not like the head position being farback, yes you can push a scope forward but think of lamping or daytime use

al4x
You adjust or get a stock extender it's not hard, I've shot 100's with mine now and just have the scope set slightly forward and adjust my head when the archer is on. Usually it's from a sitting position so you don't seem to notice it. The only thing I would query is whether the arrow doubles the image like the archer? If so it really would make an 8x56 useless,
steve_b_wales
Do you need a parallax adjustable scope for these add on like the old tubes ones? My S&B isn't but I still want NV Most NV add ons work best with PA scopes. it wont scratch the surface of a gen 3 thats for sure and at £350 i doubt it will even sniff at a n750 but the price is affordable and can go on many guns. the thing youl find with rear add on is you may not like the head position being farback, yes you can push a scope forward but think of lamping or daytime use What I have done when using either my NS200 (now sold) or Cobra Merlin, is to fit a slip on rubber stock sleeve with a 1 inch shaped piece of wood fitted inside before attaching to the stock. This gives an extra bit of length on the stock. It may not look pretty, but it works.
colin lad
Was told it will work best with PA scopes and as both my rim fires have PA i didn't ask about none PA scopes Colin Al4x has a archer and he is going to have a go with my arrow when it arrives so will ask him for his opinions on it
snapperspike
I assume from the image and discussion then, that it's a Watec board cam, with a near eye display tacked on the back, as in a neater version of Wardyvision ?? Hmm, interesting !
bullet boy
Mine are 6x42 and 8x56 so I guess it's a no. Sorry if I'm hijacking this thread but I use my Archer on a non parallax adjustable S&B scope and it's normally set on 6x power.
Andy RV
You need one of these; http://gs.flir.com/surveillance-products/milsight/aduns Blended IR & thermal, £30k, not that you'd be able to buy one...
