Have a look at my diy build in the diy section, i rather laughingly nicknamed it the ohmlaut, through the scope so no tv screen and a 600tvl resolution, better than whats on offer off the shelf currently.

sounds good will take a look but unless it's something i can make with my butchers knives i am pretty much stuffed

could be worth asking to borrow some ones, my friend has ordered one and offered to loan it to me straight away! so i can try it on my klassik and see what it will wind up to

Or if anyone is trying it could they mention what scope they are using, The chances of me knowing anyone with one are slim + I would not ask to borrow unless it was from the manufacturer for a fee with a view to buy if it works ok

i can try it with bushnell legend ultra hd (got 2 of these work well with ns200 and home made)

hawke sidewinder and ags swat

soon as i see and play with one il write it and if good buy one

I shall look forward to that and any other reviews, if I don't get the chance to try one I shall have to rely on others reviews I have been putting off buying NV for a couple of years now, this year I am determined more so since using a Yukon ranger for spotting

i use a watec camera and home made gear,,,,,,,,,i have had ns200, ne500lr, pulsar n750 they all have there down sides

What suits one person isn,t always going to suit another, Tha Archer is food to look through but to long for me the PVS14 looks really good size and image but can't justify the money, so if the arrow is anywhere near these I know it won't be as good but for the price If it does the job I will be happy

it wont scratch the surface of a gen 3 thats for sure and at £350 i doubt it will even sniff at a n750 but the price is affordable and can go on many guns.

the thing youl find with rear add on is you may not like the head position being farback, yes you can push a scope forward but think of lamping or daytime use

Head position was good with a PVS and I dont htink these are any longer, as for lamping that's what I do now and this is the problem the odd lamp shy ones that are about

You adjust or get a stock extender it's not hard, I've shot 100's with mine now and just have the scope set slightly forward and adjust my head when the archer is on. Usually it's from a sitting position so you don't seem to notice it.

The only thing I would query is whether the arrow doubles the image like the archer? If so it really would make an 8x56 useless,

Do you need a parallax adjustable scope for these add on like the old tubes ones? My S&B isn't but I still want NV

Most NV add ons work best with PA scopes.

What I have done when using either my NS200 (now sold) or Cobra Merlin, is to fit a slip on rubber stock sleeve with a 1 inch shaped piece of wood fitted inside before attaching to the stock. This gives an extra bit of length on the stock. It may not look pretty, but it works.
