staffyspen
Evening all, Looking for some suggestions on good quality camo attire for a bit of rough shooting, must keep me warm.and dry, got a jackpyke jacket which I get an internal soaking from, tried natural and man made fabrics underneath with no success. mr_magicfingers
Bought an army mpt camo jacket on ebay for £27 shipped, also bought a bottle of nikwax cotton proof and gave it a run through the washing machine. proof for heavy showers but rain will get in eventually if it's long enough. Total cost about £35, loads of pockets, decent hood, fleece lined handwarmer pockets, hardwearing and good camo. Don't think you can beat it for the money. jeff8861
Having served in the armed forces for a number of years you cant beat the US clothing especially their gortex stuff, its light, warm, cheap, windproof and waterproof. My first jacket made it through some of the thickest thorny undergrowth you can get and it never ripped or got torn. This is my second jacket i purchased on ebay for £30 brand new you cant go wrong, all the named stuff is too expensive and not strong enough. US ARMY ECWCS PARKA/ MEDIUM LONG/ NEW/ WOODLAND CAM/ GORETEX JACKET.
