Wow there's a few questions, next time your down I'll be more than happy to sharpen your saw, yes I was on spikes, no the 11kv wasn't earthed and I do wear chainsaw gloves but not whist climbing as I find them a pain. Reason the 11kv wasn't earthed is it was out of the vicinity zone and although one of the limbs had the patential to breach it was leaning the right way.
