r1steele
My other half had the onset of it about 5 yrs ago and she says that was bad enough. Hope you're up and about soon.
daz2202
The quack says its a mild case. Hell knows how anyone could survive a double dose of this. Last Friday night if a bloke with a big beard had come along and held his hand out and told me it was my time I would have believed him. I wouldn't wish this illness on many people. remmyman
I was borderline with Bronchial Pneumonia some 10 years ago, all thanks to my then 4yr old daughter giving me chicken pox! Here's wishing you a speedy recovery. Regards remmyman
Fisherman Mike
Pnuemonia. I've Had various illnesses over the years but this is awfull. It's been a week now and I still feel like death. I had real influenza, pleurisy and pneumonia simultaneously about 2 weeks before my 21st birthday... I can only remember the first couple of days in hospital and the pain and discomfort I was in.......My Parents told me some years later that they were told by the doctors that they really thought I was going to expire. Luckily I was a semi professional footballer then and extremely fit which possibly saved my life. you probably know now why so many elderly people succumb to pneumonia Speedy recovery to you Edited February 26, 2014 by Fisherman Mike
daz2202
you probably know now why so many elderly people succumb to pneumonia Speedy recovery to you I'm 35. Physically strong and mentally fit if not physically. And I felt I could succumb to it. Anyone that's old young or weak this will finish you. I hope I never get this again and if over the next few weeks I see a magic lamp I will be wishing my kids never have to experience it either. Kes
Imagine the illness without drugs - it is a killer but you are out of its shadow. All the very best for a speedy and complete recovery. Never had it - would never want to, it sounds dreadful.
Yellow Bear
Had it when I was 10 - back in 1959 - laid up for 3 months and lungs have not been really right since
