lovey day and a fox at the end of it

hi all

.its been slow the last few nites out not really seeing much movement from the foxes its to be expected as the mating season is in full swing and the vixens tend to stay out the way...

i went on a early walk about as the weather was so nice and sunny today it made a real welcomed change..

i sat under the trees on a embankment just watching the afternoon pass ... i was soon mega hissed off as some complete idiot walked across the field some 300 yards out with a non stop barking dog going nuts not on the foot path and off the lead i watched him in the binoculars hand a bag of dog shi on the tree and then went into the next field leaving it hanging .... i hoped he didn't walk my way as that is one of my pet hates and i would have been a bit abrupt .... i cant see why he went to the effort of bagging it then leaving the lot he may as well of let the dog poo then lob a bag next to it...

anyway he sort of unsettled the area and put a downer on any deer showing ... the light faded and the hope of a deer went with it... i thought i would stay on for half an hour and lamp for a fox ...

that was more fruitful and with 15 min of dark i took a lovely big lump of a dog fox... a good end to a bit of a failed afternoon...
