CaptainBeaky
Very pretty! Is it my imagination, or is that stock cast-on (i.e. left handed)?
ghilley
It's funny how fashions change short barrels are lovely for driven game and shooting in a hide that's a nice top notch aya and will shoot as nice as any 30 inch cannon
ruffapuffa
The gun is pretty and I have just uploaded a photo of the underside in gun watch so should appear on PW soon. It is for a right hander, comes nicely to the shoulder.

B25Modelman
When I and my friend Steve first ventured into shooting (1970/71) he bought the AYA 25 Sidelock version....a lovely gun indeed. Steve left us way before his time and is sorely missed. He'll be up there now fishing the big ponds :-)
ghilley
I recall taking a lovely arietta sidelock Xxl to well known english gun maker come gun room for a valuation the plumbey manager told me the barrels where to short and that it was just a cheep low qual spannish sxs He was quite aregent it was as new made in 1977 and only had 100 carts threw it in makers case with exceptional wood After leaving somewhat deflated I did my homework the same English gunmaker imports the same gun made by arietta and puts there name on it They cost some thousands of pound ? At no point did the manager mention this ? he did however insult my intelligence and offered me £*** for my gun Iv since sold that lovely little fine spanish sidelock for many times more than the £*** offered Don't let fashion and foolish soles put you of a good quality Sxs. short barrels are a joy to shoot with and will bring down most if not all the birds as well as a 30 inch cannon and with Style and elegance

ayano3
Someone has a great gun there. I shoot with a 26" aya no4 and wouldn't swap it. It's lovely and light and comes up great. I use it for everything apart from my wildfowling.

jackinbox99
Lovely gun. I bought one identical to that last year from a shop and paid nearly double that price for it. Some dont like short barrels, but i prefer them as they suit my style better.
