Ferret Master
It was very strange when it was coming up behind some light cloud with thicker cloud in it. It looked like a fireball. FM
dazzyboi
Same here..last 2 nights its been very low, very big, very bright, and even has an orange tinge to it...
Gully
Its very low at the moment so when you look at it you're looking through more of the earth's atmosphere. This acts like a lens and makes it look bigger and often changes its colour. The air's really clear over the last few nights and it makes it look a lot closer than it is. I love it - you can ride your bike cross country back from the pub without lights.

Gully
Cross Country - As long as you have necessary permissions I used to really like a pub in a village about 6 miles away. Timed my visits to the full moon and rode across aNational Trust estate near me . One night after a good few pints got chased by a load of deer. revenge is a dish best served cold
