dex*
Been offered either one of these as a swap for my rife? Which one is better? Leaning towards the s200 but put off by the low shot count not really heard much about the s300 and can't find much info. Cheers for the help! robbiep
The S300 is best described as the forerunner of the S400
dex*
Yeah I believe so,from what I can gather people who have the 300s love them.... As do the 200 owners
bruno22rf
Have owned both and they are equally good guns. If shot count is a major factor then with the s200 you could carry a spare cylinder as it simply screws on but I doubt that it would be very practical. My largest bag of bunnies without a miss (13) was with the s300 but the S200 is such a light and precise gun that its hard to fault-my advice would be to handle them both and then decide. phillips321
Ok, so i'm a little one sided as only own an S200 but i'd definitely recommend one. I have a 177 with an after market regulator and standard 10shop upgrade. It's a beautiful gun, extremely accurate 1 hole groups at 40yrds (no wind). The best thing i done to it was have it regulated, Darren from XTXAir fits them and they're amazing. I would pit my air rifle against an S300, S410 or S510 any day of the week. 177 shot count is 65+ and fps variation over the shots is no more than 5fps. I have mine paired up with a budget leupold m8 6x42 and it's phenomenal. I forgot to mention that the S200 is so light i can carry it all day in the field. :-) Edited May 10, 2014 by phillips321
Longbower
I have got to agree with the above, I am lucky enough to own an S200 that is "Tench" regulated, and a S410F both in .177. The S200 is every bit as good if not better than the little 410 carbine. Both are super accurate, and very light to carry. Strangely enough , lighter than my .22 Ultra Se.Tac. So I sold it. As for low shot count, I have never run out of air, while out hunting.
aga man
Both very good rifles as said, but worth noting that the retro fit ten shot mag is available for the s200 only. an important add on for shooting rabbits imo.
srspower
I have a s310, cracking gun.
hatsanmad
Iv had the s200 was a great gun regret getting rid of it. I used to get 60+ shots from a 180 bar fill 180 was its sweet spot. But it is defonatly worth having it regulated if you do get one. Never seen or shot a s300 but if there any thing like the 400 then i would go for that
