Paul223 Posted May 15, 2014 Report Share Posted May 15, 2014 (edited) NORTH VERSES SOUTH CHARITY SHOOT SWEEP Well folks the time is almost upon us for the annual Pigeon Watch clay pigeon bash to raise money for charity, this year Sporting targets in Bedfordshire will be hosting the shoot on Saturday the 31st of May. The combined top ten scores for each side make up each sides tally and the sweep is based on the difference between the two tallies, as an example in 2010 the combined total of the top ten for the North was 843, and the South was 739 giving difference of 104, so therefore the closest guess to North to win by 104 was the winner, and its the same format for this year. Q. What do I stand a chance of winning? A. Once again it's a rather nice bottle of The House of Bruar original Sloe Gin !! This has been very kindly donated by a generous member of The Crown Shoot, and folks its seriously good stuff, by far the best Ive come across, surely the perfect compliment to any driven or walked up day. I'm sure Mr Potter or SABS will expand on just how delicious this tipple is! Q. Is the sweep open to all? A. Yes, if the lucky winner is not at the charity shoot then Ill post the prize out to them, entries from +18 only please. Q. How do I pay? A. Either: pay via paypal direct to myself (please pm for details) as Teal has asked for the money not to be paid direct to Just Giving (to much to keep track of), or, Pay on the day if your going to the charity shoot. Sweep money will be handed over to Teal and added to the days total. Q. How much does it cost? A. £1 per guess, if paying by paypal please check the box for personal payment owed so that you pay the paypal fees, any online entry not paid for by Friday 30th of May will be void. Q. How many times can I make a guess? A. As many as you like Your choices of entry are South to win 1 and a choice of all the numbers in between to 250, then we go up in lots of 25 up to 400 (so 275, 300, etc up to 400) for those who think the margin could be a tad bigger.
