It would of landed on his parents estate. And the sense is a demonstration of skill do you think you could do that? I know I couldn't so I don't get the attitude? Sam won the schools challenge for clay shooting this year and is very talented. He was also featured in field sports Britain.

There's always one isn't there!!!

The video was posted to show this lads immense skill, not so you could slate him. You have no idea of the precautions taken before the lead up to this video so don't assume.

Good luck to the lad, shooting clays for only 7 months and being that good, I can see another world champion on the horizon

and isn't it a good job there is always one,,,otherwise the country would be full of idiots firing air rifles into the air,,, its not what HE is doing,,it is WHAT THE IDIOTS COPYING HIM ARE DOING,

I did not slate the kid and yes good luck to him,, I merely pointed out this video is nothing short of stupid and who in the right mind would want to shoot clays with an air rifle,,certainly not me that's for sure,

one thing is for sure is it will be now copied by fools its only a matter of time when the pellet lands on someone

I rest my case

Would those banger go off if i hit them using a 30.06 and a 200grain nosler Acubond whilst trying to hit clays from a trap???

Now that's an example of unsafe shooting evo.

Being hit on the head with an air rifle pellet weighing in at around 18 grains (thats if its a big un) would do as much damage as a hale stone traveling from the moon.

What do you thing happens with missed shots whilst out roost shooting with an air rifle, or squirrel shooting Aye ???

To say anyone would struggle to hit the clay with a shotgun - priceless. Absolute sitter.

The only post that's priceless is your original one  if it's not much of a feat, stop evading the challenge that's been set by beesley121,we await your video  but I guess it could be a looooong wait :lol: come on Gordon its an absolute sitter with a single pellet  BB

I think the point Evo is making is that not everyone who views this on you tube will have the knowledge of regular shooters like us lot on pigeon watch with regards to safety.

any anti shooting individuals or lobbies could potentially have a field day on videos of this nature.

all it needs is 20 seconds of him on camera at the beginning saying how this is safe as he has lots of land etc etc and do not try it unless you have the same and he and the sport are covered from anyone questioning what he is doing.

Evo is right to bring this up as it highlights how fragile our sport is and that we need to justify what we do now as society deems that we must however wrong that may be, its just a fact.

on a lighter note, I think it looks impressive and bet I would not hit any!!!!

Come on, have a laugh and do the challange. It's not an easy shot and if you still think it is, your sure to find out it isn't if you have a go.

Ps please ensure you do it somewhere very safe and ensure to give a 20 sec introduction saying how safe this challenge was done (the worlds gone mad)

I wasn't that impressed. It was a very simple clay that I would expect most decent shots to shoot 99 times out of 100.

The video could well have been edited. Had the lad hit 5 in a row reloading in between shots I would say well done. I reckon the shot wouldn't be too difficult with a little practise.

Well you know what to do then? Prove it, film yourself shooting such a clay with a springer and iron sights. Bet you can't. And I know for a fact it isn't edited or fake.

You may know, but why not film shooting five in a row?

Do you think this guy is the only person that can do this?

He's the only 14 year old who has only been shooting for 7 months that I know that can do it. Come to think of it he is the only person generally I have seen that can do it. Think you can shoot a clay shot out of a electric trap with an airgun Motty? Prove it.
