Was going to enter this but ran out of time. Looking at some of the scores I dont think I would of come dead last. Plus I dont have a cpsa rating.

Give them a ring they might have a space just for you!

Did you shoot

Not in the competition, just refereeing and driving the quad bike that tows the squads around. :)

I did get a fair few shots with some lovely Krieghoffs and some differing makes of ammunition! :good:

Pm someone Tightchoke it's only hearsay.

Hope there was no falling over a pet lip, or pulling the arms off the ref for only getting three.

Good to see the top folk have off days too. Not just us mere mortals.

Good shooting from John Lee and Stirzaker.

Some more good shooting today!

One squad I took round had four AA shots, a B and a C class shot. I think the B Class shot learned a lot watching the other guys.

Cracking weather today and no breeze!

Two 109s from Ed Solomons and Chris Childerhouse.

It is meant to be a bit cooler over the weekend so if any one is going to better Johns 114, that would be the time to do it!

Your correspondent will report back tomorrow. :good:

Having shot it on Thursday I think there is a possible 117/118 out there from one of the top lads.

I would put good money on it that it will not go further than 115! It would be interesting to know what your score was.

I took some juniors around today and saw a 103 and a 100 from one of my squads and a Veteran put in a 110 in another squad.

I really enjoy watching some of the good shooters and it is pleasing to see some of the Juniors with such great potential!!!!!

We put 180 shooters through the course today, now time for some Stella!

There were still places available this morning!

As usual, people who had booked on over the telephone in the weeks running up to the five days of competition failed to show up.

We did however put about 500 shooters through the 15 stand course.

What a fantastic event. My first ever time at anything like this, got roped in off another site but won't be the last! To everyone involved with this a big thank you, all staff, referees (ours was Graham, great bloke and could not of been nicer ) and everyone there could not have been more helpful. A really enjoyable day out ;-)
