Thinking of getting a cheap 22lr and setting a budget of around £100 .

Is this possible? I already have a mod and use the hmr mostly.

It's going to be a back up gun for when I need to be quiet .

The reason for such a low budget is I'm saving for a 223 .

I've just sold my lr semiauto as I want bolt action

PM Wabbitbosher this is his kind of thing as well as shotguns. A top fella to deal with and not too far from you.

One of the old boys from my previous target shooting club was getting rid of his rifles as he wasn't going to renew his certificate any more so I got my 1970 Anschutz with an ok 4X40 scope for £55. Bargain. It's certainly paid me back my 'investment' in the number of rabbits it's had.
