cody123
Hi DannyNCC, I've just bought an SXP wildfowl 3 1/2" I used it first time on the pigeons yesterday and we got along fine. That is apart from the idiot who on twice forgot to pump and wondered why he coud'nt get his second shot away.....could hear the pigeons laughing two fields away !!! Stock was a bit on the short side but plenty of spacers out there . Good luck.

vole
I traded my hatsan pump for the Escort and shot the pump much better . Think the racking between shots helped my accuracy . I found the Field Hunter a good simple cheap gun that had less rattle than others . I am looking to trade back to the pump when I can . Quicker to reload and to find the empties . jimmyb79
Weirdly, I bought an SXP camo at the game fair. It was bought for coaching/corporate purposes as a bit of fun but I thought I'd take it out on the pigeons yesterday. I wasn't expecting much but I was impressed! I've never shot as well as I did with that, and although I may have just had a better than average day was really pleased with the gun. As above, the racking between shots really focused my second shot and I got more second shot kills than ever before. Yes it's made in Turkey, yes it's camo and it probably won't be replacing my miroku mk38 gd5 or my maxus in the cabinet, but it'll definitely see some use. figgy
what's wrong with a pump at a clay ground? safest shotgun to use! Can you explain how a pump gun is the safest gun you can use at a clay ground, as I'm at a complete loss as to how this is even remotely possible? Any gun loaded and pointed the wrong direction in the wrong hands is the most dangerous gun and any loaded gun pointed in the right direction is the safest, nothing to do with what action it is.
